# Reject Campaign Application

> Reject a pending campaign application

Reject a pending application. The affiliate may apply again. Requires `write:affiliates`. Foreign-team IDs return 404.

The same operation is available through the [`affonso_reject_campaign_application`](https://docs.affonso.io/mcp/tools/campaigns) MCP tool.

## Path Parameters

**id** `string` *required*

Encoded campaign id

**applicationId** `string` *required*

Encoded application id

## Response

Returns the rejected application object.

**success** `boolean`

Always `true` for successful responses

**data** `object`

The application. Fields match the application object in [List Campaign Applications](https://docs.affonso.io/api/endpoint/campaigns/list-applications.md). After rejection `status` is `"REJECTED"` and `reviewed_at` is set.

## Notes

* Requires `write:affiliates`.
* No request body.
* Already `REJECTED` applications are returned unchanged (idempotent, HTTP 200). `ACCEPTED` applications return `CONFLICT` (HTTP 409).
